No. Typing, autocorrect, predictions, glide typing, themes, layouts, the number row, one handed mode, emoji, accents and cursor control all work without it. Full Access is only needed for translate, tone, proofread and reply drafts, the clipboard shared with the app, and haptic feedback on keys.

Turn on Full Access for Riff in Settings, General, Keyboard, Keyboards, Riff. Typing keeps working without it, and the offline tier still proofreads, adjusts tone and length, translates common phrases and writes template replies.

Share one or more chat screenshots to Riff from the share sheet. Riff reads them on the device, works out who said what from the bubble alignment, and writes three reply options with a labelled angle and a timing hint. They are waiting in the keyboard the next time you open that conversation.

English, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese layouts ship with their own dictionaries, and you can have up to two more languages enabled alongside the layout's language. Translation covers 37 languages.

Every generated result carries a badge: Cloud, On device, or Offline, along with which model answered.

Yes. Cloud features are off by default. In the app, go to Settings, then AI provider, and paste a key for the provider you choose. Only the text you ask Riff to process is sent, straight to that provider.

Press delete straight after the correction and your word comes back. Riff will not correct that word again.

Yes. There are nine themes plus one that follows the system, three keyboard heights, an optional number row, one handed mode, and toggles for haptics and key clicks.
